Developing the whole child lies at the centre of Tania’s educational philosophy. Through acknowleding and celebrating the uniqueness and diversity of our children, our community and our staff, Tania aims to ensure that all learning experiences inspire students to see themselves as confident and capable individuals; able to actively contribute to their learning journey. She is experienced in leading teams through the process of researching, designing, implementing and monitoring innovative, student centred and authentic teaching and learning programs. Tania’s approach is aimed at affording students and colleagues the opportunity to express themselves socially, intelectually, creatively and physically, whilst being consistent with the vision and values of our school and the intentions of the Victorian Curriculum.
Jake is a passionate educator who has worked with a range of responsibilities within educative settings that have diverse demographics, cultures, and religious beliefs. He continues to invest his time and energy to working to promote inclusivity within the wider community. Jake is charged with rolling out the Disability Inclusion initiative at Fitzroy North Primary School; which will complement the wellbeing focus across our school. Jake strives to ensure that all decisions place the ‘Children at heart’ and believes that happy children will learn.
Hannah is a teacher leader who believes strongly that all children, regardless of ability, race or gender can learn, have the right to high quality education, and are entitled to the opportunity to achieve success. She is commitment to practice and excellence in classroom instruction, professional knowledge and development, and demonstrates drive to lead and support colleagues across a school wide context. She has a natural ability to build and maintain genuine relationships with individual students, families, community members and colleagues both within and outside of the school community and believes in the power of community to support learners to achieve their fullest potential. Hannah is an experienced IB Primary Years Programme educator and is passionate about the development of globally minded citizens who contribute positively to the communities in which they belong. She is passionate about building a safe, supportive, and challenging environment where the whole learner can flourish to their fullest potential.
Joe is a creative teacher and learner who is passionate about empowering students by giving them agency over their learning and designing contextualised learning experiences that connect with their interests. Improving student engagement, wellbeing and achievement underpin his practice as a teacher and he aims to advocate for and build positive relationships with students to create learning partnerships. Joe is excited about new initiatives and innovative ideas within the Education sector and is constantly evolving and driving change to suit the needs of 21st Century Learners.
